Salesforce CPQ Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce CPQ solutions to streamline our sales processes and enhance the efficiency of our quoting and pricing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce CPQ development, with a focus on customization, configuration, and integration of CPQ modules to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to quoting, pricing, and contracting processes.
2. Design and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions to automate complex quoting processes, including product configuration, pricing rules, discounting, and approval workflows.
3. Customize CPQ functionality using Salesforce CPQ APIs, Apex programming, and Visualforce pages to meet specific business needs.
4. Configure and maintain CPQ product catalogs, price books, and product rules to ensure accurate and consistent pricing and quoting.
5. Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and third-party systems using Salesforce APIs and middleware platforms.
6. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of CPQ solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders, including training sessions, documentation, and troubleshooting assistance.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce CPQ features, best practices, and industry trends, and make recommendations for process improvements and enhancements.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and IT, to drive successful CPQ implementations and ensure alignment with business goals.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification is highly preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ development, customization, and implementation.
4. Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ configuration, including product rules, price rules, discount schedules, and approval processes.
5. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
6. Experience with Salesforce CPQ integration with other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
9. Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
