Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst works as part of the Development Team/ Scrum Team to ensure successful delivery of the Sprint.

Responsibilities

    Link between business and development.
    Assess business processes.
    Determine requirements.
    Conceptual, Functional, and Integration documentation.
    Story writing.
    Gather information.
    Answer functionality questions.

Experience / Skills Needed – in addition to the basic Business Analyst skills.

 Overall:  Looking for a true team player.  One who can execute the BA tasks as well as willing and able to jump in and help others.  Shall be open to receive and give constructive feedback. Understands it’s not my way/their way / but it’s the Jabil/Product Owner/Stakeholder way.
Mid to Senior Level who takes initiative to drive their tasks to completion.
Attention to details. 
Comfortable being a leader in their ceremonies as well as a participant in helping others.
e.g. Be sure to collaborate with those you are helping before changing templates, formats, etc…
2-3 years hands on experience creating user stories.
Experienced creating end user training documentation.
 If they have examples, they can remove confidential information from, that’s even better.  
Testing Experience. 
    Able to create a Test Case.

Some of the key tasks:  

    Collaborate with PO to solidify requirements/approve stories for dev.
    Draft Features as needed and review with PO for approval.
    Draft user stories, review with PO for approval.
    Conduct Product Backlog Refinement meetings with Dev / QA and be comfortable drawing questions from team members.
    Assist PO with UAT
    Create / Update Test Plan (have template)
    Create / Update Testing Log (have template)
    Execute PBR’s
    Review Test Cases
    Create Wiki training pages.
    Support Dev and QA during their tasks
