Position Title: Sr. Infra Middleware Engineer

Experience: 5 -7 yrs.

Location: Gurgaon/Indore/Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Position: Contract

Shift Timing: 1:30PM -10:30PM

Job Description (Job Summary/Roles & Responsibilities)

• Interact with various infrastructure support groups like network engineering, load balancers teams, firewall group, data center tier 1 operations, etc. and application development teams and reroute tickets in Service Now effectively maintaining their consistent tracking and resolution within SLAs.

• Support issues related to Windows middleware environments such as IIS setup, applications pools creations on Windows platform, IIS/ App Pool recycles, CPU/ disk space issues, service alerts, logs mining, logs archiving, SSL certificates renewal, etc.

• Manage security vulnerabilities reported via Qualys scans

• Work with project lead for reviewing recurring incidents and providing RCA and performing problem management as well Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Windows IIS support Or Linux administration.

• Good Understanding of ticketing tools such as Service Now and how to route tickets in Service Now as per ITIL process

• Strong in logical understanding of middleware incident tickets and identifying whether tickets are originating out of Windows based infrastructure issues or Linux based application servers • Should have good understanding of 3 tier application architecture

• Understanding of concepts of Load Balancing SSL, etc.

• Good to have skills:

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, SSH, SFTP, etc.

• Using SharePoint, Wiki, Microsoft teams, TFS, JIRA, etc.

• Knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud environments is preferred Education & Certifications: BE/ BTech / MCA
