Cohesity Backup Expert

Mandatory : Cohesity Backup, Banking Sector / Domain, Net Backup  

Roles & Responsibilities 

·Product Deployment - Implementation and configuration of new infrastructure requirements, validation of designs, capacity planning, addressing network-related needs, and ensuring project deliverables adhere to customer standards and best practices.

·Migration - Facilitating the transfer of backups from one tool to another (e.g. --> Networker to Cohesity / NetBackup to Cohesity), reviewing customer engineering standards.

·Performance Tuning - Identifying and resolving infrastructure-related issues impacting backups, proposing and implementing optimizations to stabilize the Infra.

·Forecasting - Anticipating backup infrastructure requirements needed for seamless operations.

·Shadowing - Mentoring junior team members, assisting them in enhancing their skills.

·Automation - Recommending and implementing automation initiatives for backup infrastructure, streamlining routine tasks.

·Forum Discussion Requirements -

·Actively participating in discussions with customers regarding new project requirements, when ever necessary.

·Conducting thorough investigations, presenting factual information to customers, and defending the backup tower through Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

·Execute backup related changes

·Advance trouble shooting for Application related backup

·Handle ad-hoc S@R / Medium incident

·Process management request for fetching informaiton and design changes

·Minimum 6 years of relevant hands on experience on above-mentioned technology

·Degree in Computer Science / Information System or related disciplines

·Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.

·Fluent in English

·Fluent in Cantonese would be an advantage

·Mandatory for Cantonese speaking for Hong Kong Hiring
