Designation / Position Title Senior Engineer DevOps
Primary

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cloud and on premise servers
• Must have worked on Centos , Redhat Linux
• Must have worked on MySql Database user creation , taking Backup & Creating New Server.
• Establishing and maintaining communication between on premise and cloud
• Maintaining and fixing cloud and on premise hosting issues
• Participating in PCI DSS, RBI and ISO compliance
• Performing cloud and on premise server performance checks
• Developing new cloud architecture
• Application deployment as per SOPs
• Establishing CI/CD pipelines
• Maintaining code repository
• Planning server maintenance activities for patches, hardening, server events and incidents
• Providing and managing access to cloud and on premise servers
• Establishing telemetry system for server and application events
• Helping in resolving application, database and required tool deployment issues
• SSL and certificate setups
• Supporting appsupport team for non-standard deployments having high impact
• Resolve Incidents as per ITIL Incident Management process
• Execute Changes as per ITIL Change Management process
• Request Fullfillment for standard requests
• Request Fulfillment for complex requests
• Operations Management
• Access Management
• Partake in CAB, review changes etc.
• Prepare SOPs and Operational Run books

Secondary Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Cross fuctional teams (Application, DB, Operations)

• Provide effective training

Typical Years of Experience

• 5 to 7 years of total experience ( 2 to 3 years relevant experience )

Educational Qualification BE or Diploma in IT or BSC IT ( Preferred Engineering Graduate )

Technical Skills

• In depth working knowledge of OS : Unix ( especially for RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian etc )( Windows is add on )
• In depth knowledge of Public Cloud environments, like AWS, Azure, GCP
• In depth working knowledge of Enterprise / Opensource Tools :
Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD, Docker, Salt, , Kubernetes, Nagios, Check_MK, Puppet,
CMDB, Nagios, MRTG, RTG, Cobbler, Tacacs, Radius etc.
• Working knowledge of RAID, DNS, NFS, SMTP, Apache, Tomcat, Jboss, Java and Clustering etc.
• Prior experience in any of these industry (Payment , Financial, Datacenter, ISP, Service provider)
• Familiar with Backup, Storage, TSM, Networking, concepts
• Knowledge of shell, Perl scripting
• Good understanding of Tools framework and concepts
