Senior Network Engineer (Extreme Networks Technology)

Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and implement complex network architectures utilizing Extreme Networks technology to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network needs and provide strategic solutions.

Network Implementation:
Lead and execute the deployment of Extreme Networks solutions, including switches, routers, wireless networks, and security appliances. Ensure proper configuration, optimization, and integration of network devices.

Network Optimization:
Continuously optimize network performance, capacity, and security in response to changing business needs and technological advancements. Implement best practices for high availability, load balancing, and failover.

Network Security:
Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and intrusion detection systems. Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.

Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide advanced-level support for network-related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution. Mentor and assist junior team members in troubleshooting efforts.

Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change management records.
Generate performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.

Vendor Management:
Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and procure Extreme Networks equipment and services. Manage vendor relationships and contracts effectively.

Capacity Planning:
Monitor network capacity and plan for scalability to accommodate future growth. Identify and implement network upgrades and expansions as needed.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Extreme Networks. Conduct training sessions for internal teams and share knowledge with colleagues.
