Senior DevOps Engineer

Based in India, Remote, Immediate, Contract 6-12 (extendable) months, Singapore/ Malaysia Working hours

Please state the candidate skill (below mentioned) levels from 1 to 10.  Options:  1) the candidates are on your payroll preferred, 2) freelancers are also ok 3) I can also take them on my payroll, if the CTC is realistic and pay you your margin month on month (with 30-45 days payment period). Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant AWS certifications are a plus.
• 4-6+ years of experience as a cloud engineer with sound Knowledge of AWS products.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct infrastructure provisioning tasks using Terraform on AWS EC2, EKS & S3.
• Hands on experience in Shell Scripting and Ansible for DevOps tasks on AWS.
• Recent experience of at least 3 years in AWS public cloud creating and configuring EC2, EKS workloads using Terraform IaC templates.
• Extended experience with IaC, PaC, automated single-click deployment, configuration management, production support.
• Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices, specifically in Terraform, OpenShift.
• Expertise in containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and orchestration tools Ansible/ Puppet.
• Skilled in system-level architecture, such as Linux or Windows.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to business requirements.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation of report and dashboard specifications, data sources, data definitions, and assumptions to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain consistency.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to utilize the reports and dashboards effectively, including troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in reporting and dashboard technologies, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance the reporting capabilities and user experience.

Skills / Experience

• Min 4-6+ years proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices in a DevOps environment, specifically for AWS products.
• Mandatory skills in Terraform, Shell Scripting and Ansible.
• Good to have: Hands on experience of deploying workloads using Terraform to EC2, EKS, S3.
• Ability to write simple, effective, and scalable code.
• AWS Cloud certification would be preferred.
• Develop self-service infrastructure provisioning, delivery pipelines, log and monitoring services.
• Monitor, fix, and improve infrastructure continuously.
• Troubleshoot any operational issues related to the infrastructure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable reports and dashboards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality reports within specified deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders from different departments and levels within the organization.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
