Responsibilities for ETL / POSTGRESQL developer:
• Design & Develop ETL/POSTGRESQL pipelines, packages, and data loads
• Define and captures metadata and rules associated with ETL processes
• Works with business requirements analyst to identify and understand source data systems
• Design and develop PgSQL stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
• Review and make recommendations for tuning SQL queries
• Develops and implements application documentation and training materials
• Provides post implementation support of user questions and fine tuning of processes
• Maintains knowledge on current computer hardware and software technology
Managing the database artifacts and providing subject matter expertise on best practices for creation, deployment and ongoing management of databases in a Data Lake, Data warehouse, Reporting & BI Environments
