Description

Responsibilities for ETL / POSTGRESQL developer:

Design & Develop ETL/POSTGRESQL pipelines, packages, and data loads

Define and captures metadata and rules associated with ETL processes
Works with business requirements analyst to identify and understand source data systems
Design and develop PgSQL stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
Review and make recommendations for tuning SQL queries
Develops and implements application documentation and training materials

Provides post implementation support of user questions and fine tuning of processes
Maintains knowledge on current computer hardware and software technology

Managing the database artifacts and providing subject matter expertise on best practices for creation, deployment and ongoing management of databases in a Data Lake, Data warehouse, Reporting & BI Environments
