QA Automation - Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using JavaScript, Node.js, AEM, and Cypress.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to understand software requirements for AEM-based applications.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement in applications.
• Investigate and debug test failures, providing detailed reports and recommendations to the development team.
• Continuously enhance and optimize automated test suites for improved efficiency, coverage, and reliability .
• Identify opportunities for test automation and provide input on the overall test strategy and approach.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on testing AEM-based applications.
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, AEM, and Cypress for automated testing.
3. Should also be comfortable in other scripting language like Java .
4. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
5. Able to explain and demo the framework , functions developed .
6. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
8. Experience with other automation testing tools and frameworks is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Protractor) .
9. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
10. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
11. Retail , e-commerce domain knowledge is a plus.
