Job Title: Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assess the current McAfee Drive Encryption and AV/EDR infrastructure and determine the scope and requirements for the migration process.
• Develop a detailed migration plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a smooth transition from McAfee Drive Encryption to Microsoft BitLocker and McAfee AV/EDR to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Experience in leading the EDR and Drive encryption migration.
• Configure and maintain security solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker, and Microsoft Intune.
• Conduct compatibility assessments to identify any potential issues or conflicts during the migration.
• Perform hands-on configuration and implementation of Microsoft BitLocker and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to disk decryption, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users and business operations.
• Manage drive encryption keys with Azure AD and ensure proper key management procedures.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to the IT team and end-users regarding the new encryption and endpoint security solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to encryption and endpoint security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience working with McAfee Drive Encryption and McAfee ePO, McAfee ENS & MVISION solutions.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft BitLocker and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Proficiency in Azure AD, including encryption key sync and management, as well as experience with Intune for device onboarding.
• Strong understanding of encryption mechanisms, endpoint security, and data protection best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing migration projects, specifically related to encryption and endpoint security solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues during the migration process.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as McAfee Certified Product Specialist (MCPS), Microsoft Certified: Defender for Endpoint Administrator, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
