About the Role
The Data Quality Developer is an instrumental role in the Data Quality Services organization to develop and support
an enterprise data quality solution for an organization. This role will support the business in the ability to analyze
and assess the master data quality in transactional environments, acquisitions and the real-time. This will be key in
helping to support the Data Governance Council with actionable information to improve the quality and value of
information assets.
Key Responsibilities
• The Data Quality Developer (DQ Developer) is responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and documenting the
data quality use cases and their outputs
• Perform data load and mappings from source systems as the scope of quality information increase across the
enterprise.
• Responsible for standards when creating mapplets and code migration from development thru test.
• Ensure oversight and access management for the IDQ Repository.
• Maintain data matching logic and Address Doctor dictionaries.
• The DQ Developer must partner with Enterprise Information Quality & Governance Office and business data
stewards to provide summary results of data quality analysis, which will be used to make decisions regarding how to
measure business rules and quality of the data.
• The DQ Developer must also document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality
applications.
• Provide Data Quality Scorecards, Dash-Boards and Ad-Hoc reporting
• Providing recommendations for modification or creation of business rules based on data results
• Aptitude to understand business challenges and offer advice on how to solve them with DQ
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering in computer science
Role Proficiencies:
• 3+ years& experience in defining and deploying data quality programs and tools on enterprise data quality projects
• 3+ years’ experience in Join Analysis Profiling, Column Profiling, Multi Object Profiling, Mappings and transformations
• 3+ years’ experience in Data Standardization, Cleanse, transform and parse data. Develop data standardization mapplets and mappings, 3+ years of experience in Address Validation, Reusable AV Transformation, AV Transformation Properties, Reusable
• Experience in data profiling & data quality rules development using Informatica Data Quality tools
