Required Skills
6+ years of overall experience in Software Development and 1+ year in Roku application development
Good experience in Smart TV applications
Good understanding of OTT domain
End to end solutioning and integration, Player KPIs, QOS parameters
At least one FE framework/Library like: React/Angular or others.
Idea of Unit-testing for code robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general
Developing the Roku Application using Roku SDK, Bright script.
Responsible for publishing the apps to the Roku channel store.
Performing Integration with Analytics using third party services, APM tools
Should have deep expertise and knowledge of doing Web Service integration with Roku Apps using REST/JSON/XML formats.
Good to have knowledge of Media Domains like VOD, Live/Linear, OTTV related Applications Good written, communication knowledge
Should be well aware of MPEG DASH, HTTP Live Streaming protocol, PlayReady/Widevine DRM scheme and ROPlayer functionalities.
Experience with native renderable nodes such as RowList, ZoomList, MarkupGrid etc.
Good to have experience in publishing app on Roku app store and store guidelines
