Teqfocus is looking for a hands-on AEM Architect to support the migration of multiple sites from on-premises AEM to AEM Cloud Services.
The perfect candidate will have 4+ years of professional development experience within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Experience working within an AEM Cloud Services environment as well as prior experience supporting AEM content and site migration are energetically preferred.
A broad understanding of the overall capabilities of the AEM platform as well as exposure to the design and development of front-end and user interfaces would be helpful.
Excellent communication skills are crucial and an ability to interact with clients and stakeholders is a huge plus.
Required:
- Hands-on solution architecture experience AEM6.x versions and deep concept of OSGi, Apache Sling, Apache Slightly, Adobe Dispatcher
- Thorough hands-on experience in Design and development of AEM building blocks – templates, components, dialogs, widgets
- Experienced building service/API layer implementations leveraging SOAP and RESTful based web-services
- Experienced in building and deploying AEM solution on Multi tannate deployment models
- Experienced in building and managing developing Component versioning/ Theming
- Excellent communications skills, proficient in managing client conversations
- Prior experience working within AEM Cloud Services is energetically preferred
- Ability to configure and implement site components in AEM Cloud is highly preferred
- Prior Experience creating deployment packages and scripts for CI/CD pipeline.
- Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with a meaningful understanding of enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring
- Deep understanding of and hands-on development experience with relevant Java CMS frameworks including Apache Sling for content-centric application development, JCR and JSR-170 / JSR-283 for Content Management, JSR-168 and JSR-286 for Portal development, and Apache Felix for OSGi bundle development
- Proficiency in Day CQ / Adobe AEM foundational concepts including the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, a thorough understanding of all the related building blocks (including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc.), and the Adobe AEM development and deployment process
- Knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, and content publishing/deployment/delivery processes
- Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM)
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Cloud Manager, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and AEM upgrade implementation
- Experience supporting AEM implementation and/or migration projects
- Good understanding of Day CQ /Adobe AEM WCM capabilities including multisite manager and blueprinting as well as the use of online marketing components such as advanced targeting/personalization and multivariate testing
- Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using Day CQ / Adobe AEM with or without a Portal, Search, Commerce package or other platforms
- Experience with Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target
- Prior experience collaborating and interacting with stakeholders and clients
- An understanding of the general capabilities of the AEM platform and experience working with user-facing interface design and development
Additional Information
- On-premises migration experience from windows to Linux.
- Exposure to a lower version to higher version upgrades.
