Senior Devops Engineer

Job Description:

• 7+ years of experience of building CI/CD platforms such Jenkins and source repositories such as GitHub 
• 3+ years of experience operating in a cloud environment, preferably AWS 
• 3+ Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform/Cloud Formation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Bosh. 
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Docker and Kubernetes 
• Experience creating webhooks for notifications of CI/CD events in collaboration suites/tools such as Teams, Slack, and Outlook
• Experience creating secure automation scripts and solutions in public and private clouds; 
• Experience with delivering using Agile methodology practices 
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure concepts such as network, compute, and storage
• Experience with managing and troubleshooting Linux operating systems 
• Experience with API gateways such as APIGEE, Mulesoft, or AWS API Gateway 
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms such as DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and PagerDuty

• Lead the hands-on technical delivery of new services and capabilities 
• Builds, manages, and operate the infrastructure and configuration of the platform infrastructure and application environments with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code 
• Participates in engineering practices around test driven and continuous delivery of infrastructure 
• Builds, manages and operates the continuous delivery framework and tools, manages and automates the lifecycle of the different platform components, and acts as a subject matter expert on CI/CD for developer teams 
• Operates the infrastructure as a service layer (hosted and cloud-based platforms) that supports the different platform services 
• Implements comprehensive monitoring solutions to provide full visibility to the different platform components using tools and services like ELK, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus 
• Identifies and troubleshoots any availability and performance issues at multiple layers of deployment, from hardware, operating environment, network and application 
• Recommends and maintains technology related policies and procedures
