Senior Developer - HTML

Job title: Senior Developer- frontend technology

Qualifications: IT Graduate / Post Graduate/Any graduate

·10+ years of experience on HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, XML and JSON etc. Should be completely hands on.

·Good Experience in various SDLC phases - analysis, design, and development

·Experience of handling small teams and mentoring them to create robust/efficient application and course player

·E-learning course architecture along with framework level development. Data tracking using AICC, 508, SCORM API’s and custom complex data tracking mechanism

·Understanding of version control (SVN, Git).

Experience and skills required:

• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Strong knowledge of web standards
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Familiarity with differences in other HTML5 based views, such as ones in email clients
• Knack of adhering to best design practices

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·Ability to break down large features into smaller components.

·Self-starter with ability to take a task to completion independently.

·Test driven development needed with 80% unit test coverage.

Responsibilities:

·Understand the user requirement from the requirement documents and create design keeping functional feasibilities in mind.

·Work in line with existing coding guidelines, standards and best practices

·Design and develop code based on the standards and guideline.
