Role & Responsibilities
§ Assist Engineering Manager in designing and implementing lightweight developer support workflow process.
§ Provide end-to-end support follow-up starting with ticket logging, up to issue resolution, and acknowledging new tickets reported within the first 15mins.
§ Providing developer support for issues related to building and deployment failure.
§ Escalate, collaborate, pair, and follow up with the Senior DevOps Engineer for tickets that require second-level support.
§ Provide monthly analytic reports of all tickets logged by developers, and provide action plans to eliminate toil.
Experience, skills & attributes
§ Knowledgeable in GitHub, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
§ Knowledgeable in Amazon Web Services.
§ Working experience with Atlassian HALP is a bonus.
§ Ideally, you have 2-3 years of working experience in a DevOps environment, providing help and support for developers.
§ Has demonstrated experience in curating CI/CD pipelines for software development teams.
§ Has demonstrated experience with programming and scripting languages – e.g., Python and Shell.
§ Good communicator, providing consistent ticket updates and following up with discipline.
