Job Description
● Strong experience working on Postgres and MySQL database in the production environment.
● DBA will be supporting the customer on a 24x7 support.
● Should have hand-on experience on Postgres user management, performance tuning and maintenance.
● Should have worked on security implementation for Postgres database.
● Have worked on maintenance tasks and knowledge of Backup and Recovery.
● Must have strong experience with database related issue troubleshooting / analytical skills / DB Patching / DB upgrade major version
● Should have good communication, customer facing experience and interpersonal skills. Postgres HA orchestration hands on Experience with PgBouncer, PgPool, PgBadger, EFM, etc. Strong experience with DB replication like Streaming, Hot Standby, Logical, Londiste, Slony, etc.
Experience with DB PaaS services like RDS, Aurora
Strong experience with DMS/cross DB migration
Requirements
● Knowledge of Cloud Technology will take precedence.
● Knowledge of other databases like Oracle/MSSQL/MOngoDB will be an added advantage.
