Test Automation Engineer

Job Description:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Automation and Manual Testing
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science 
• Experience in test automation JavaScript, Typescript,
• Experience in Web as well as Windows-based technologies
• Expertise in Test Automation tools & frameworks with one or more of Squish, SoapUI, tools, HP LoadRunner, JMeter, Cyprus, or similar
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software, and Product 
• Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques
• Integrate project testing with a continuous-integration process
• Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions
• Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning, and testing methodology for a software project
• Develop and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases

Desired Skillset:

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Knowledge of test or defect management tools like HP ALM, Polarion, JIRA, or similar
• Knowledge of databases and ability to use SQL queries
• ISTQB certificate
• Has experience in testing web services
• Has experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems
• Has experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Has experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure
