Description

We are looking for a passionate, highly talented Ruby on Rails/Web developer with a minimum of 6 months of experience to develop complex applications. The candidate should be a strong individual contributor and be part of the development team and enjoys coding, thinks strongly about how things should be done and is skilled at persuading others. We also offer you to work flexible with location wherever you are most comfortable (home, office).

Must have:

Hands-on experience working with Ruby, Rails or any web backend frameworks.
Knowledge of any of the databases. Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB).
Familiarity with building RESTful APIs. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - Git.
Good experience with Web Unit Testing processes and tools - Rspec.
Experience with common libraries such as Sidekiq. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code.
Should adhere to best practices in Ruby/Rails or any web backend frameworks.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to the problems.
Good to have: Experience monitoring and improving application performance will be a plus.
Knowledge of front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS would be an added advantage.
Familiar with deployments using AWS, Digital Ocean, Heroku will be a plus.
