Devops Engineer Experience: 2- 4 years

Must have:

1. Linux server administration and shell scripting (bash , python or any language)

2. Worked on different Microservices deployment and hands on experience with docker & docker compose

3. Database administration ( installation, upgrades, replication, backup/restore ) ( at least one - MySQL , postgrad, mongodb )

4. AWS Cloud services experience/or any other cloud ( vpc and networking , compute, storage, autoscaling , packer & HA setups )

5. Knowledge of git operations and branching , along with CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins or any other tool

6. Experience with at least one monitoring and alerting system eg : Prometheus & Grafana

7. Experience with log aggregation and analytics using ELK stack or any other tool

8. Worked on Kubernetes architecture and deployment of applications to production systems with end to end monitoring and pipelines

Good to have :

1. Ansible automation

2. Terraform or Cloud formation

3. AWS serverless stacks using lambda, api gateway , cloud front

4. Experience with at least one monitoring and alerting system.

5. Experience with High Load website configuration, Stress testing and debugging skills

6. Worked on Kafka , rabbit MQ and other message broking services

7. Worked on DevOps approach and building entire pipelines
