MSK Data Intake Consumer (02/2022 - Present)
The intake consumer will pull messages from kafka topic and delegate to proper handler to transform the message into XML that can be loaded into Trucare.XML files will be staged on a NAS file share to be brought into Trucare via Vendor's native load process
kafka team creates a kafka sink connector which is responsible to send/start/stop messages and these are consumed by a Lambda function
Based on the topic name in the recieved messages it will invoke either Product/Member API and generate respective Json and it'll be saved to DynamoDB Table
Post this a Step Function which consists of multiple lambdas starts its execution which is responsible for reading the json from DynamoDB, performing all validations and generating the product/member XML and storing into S3 Bucket
Based on a Scheduled Job the xml files are moved from S3-NAS and from there
xml files in NAS location to be brought into Trucare via Vendor's load process
