Bisly Mobile App
Bisly is a home automation mobile application from which you can control everything at your house or office when you are connected to the Bisly ecosystem. The main features of this app will be that you can control the heating,ventilation and air conditioning. You can control the lighting of any room and bisly smart lighting solution can save energy by 50%. Other than that, you have access control to the video intercom through the app, can view the readings of energy consumption and it has the feature to send the reading to the house management automatically. The app uses Socket.io to get real time requests other than Rest API’s because it’s more efficient. Environment/Technologies: React Native, Redux, Socket.io, Git/Stash(repos maintained in git), JIRA.
Project Role: Implement the UI of the project, Implemented socket in this project to fetch real time data, Performed manual tests, Participated and owned the quality responsibility of major releases.
DOKAN MOBILE APP
Dokan mobile app is a multivendor E-Commerce app which depends on the wordpress plugin Dokan. Dokan is a flagship product of WeDevs company which is a wordpress plugin. The plugin has more than 70,000 active installations and I have worked on the mobile app part of it from the start. I have completed the E-Commerce project and maintained the update with CI/CD pipeline through fastlane. Using this same codebase, I have delivered E-Commerce mobile applications to more than 200 businesses who are using the Dokan plugin for their website. This app had every possible feature an E-Commerce app does. Environment/Technologies: React Native, Redux, Firebase, Wordpress for backend and database, Git/Stash(repos maintained in git), JIRA.
Project Role: Lead the total project, Architect, build and maintain quality of the application with clean code integrating third party API's, Deployed and App automation done using CI/CD with Fastlane. Participated in release management decisions.
MOVIT PILOT APP
Movit is a logistics mobile application with which you can move your household or office stuff from one place to another. The app is still ongoing in Malaysia and initially the response was really good. This app has two parts. One of which is the user part and the other one is the app for the drivers. I worked on the second part which is the complicated one. The user app just sends an order for a pickup and the pilot app fetches the jobs available in a certain radius and shows the rider available jobs. Then the rider can accept any job and after accepting a job, the pilot app keeps track of the driver which is shown in the app till he/she completes the task. Environment/Technologies: React Native, Redux, Firebase, php for Rest API’s, MySQl for database, Bitbucket(repos maintained in Bitbucket).
Project Role: Received and Analyzed project requirements from the client, Boilerplate setup, Architecture design, Worked with RESTful API's including front-end routing, client side templating and state management with Redux.
MOVIT WEB APP
Movit web app is the project where you can book any ride suitable according to you to move your household or office stuff from one place to another. This one is still ongoing in Malaysia and being used for renting rides with a driver to move things from one destination to another. The pricing depends on the type of the vehicle you are going to order and the distance. Also there is a safe and secure online payment system enabled. Initially I started the project with React and the configurations were done according to that created boilerplate. I launched the total website along with the mobile app part. Then I got busy doing the React native tasks and for that reason after a year or so, they converted the project to Vue js as no React developer was there at that time to work on that project. Also everything was working already, so it didn’t take much time to convert the project. Environment/Technologies: React, Redux, Firebase, php for Rest API’s, MySQl for database, Bitbucket(repos maintained in Bitbucket).
Project Role: Received and Analyzed project requirements from the client, Created boilerplate for the project and integrated all the API’s after completing the UI design part, Performed a lot of manual tests because of the location tracking part, Launched the project with everything working properly
