Project description:
Online bill payment is a secure electronic service that allows customers to pay bills without having to write checks and mail them. Our service is implemented to pay water, electricity and student fees bill. Till date it is productionised for Akola and Chandigarh Billers and in future this count can be increased to more than 150. There were various sources are consuming our service to fetch the details of customer and according generate the payment. Once the payment is generated, it is validated and accordingly we are producing the status. For retrieving the data we are fetching the respective biller’s web service which is nothing but REST call. Main challenge in this project was every biller has different response format and ESB has to transform it to common format which is to be provided to source. Development and coordination with source and backend team for testing had to done which lead to the successful implementation of the project.
