About Project: Medical Protective is the leading company for medical malpractice insurance. Main objective of this project is to automate the policy adjustment System. This application reduces the manual effort and paper work a lot. Process includes submitting the online adjustment application by external users like Doctors, Independent Agents, Direct Sales Executives and Customer service representatives and sending the application data to the back end AS400 policy management system. Mule ESB is used as the integration layer between front end UI and back end data base or AS400 system. There are various API’s has been implemented for back and forth communication between these systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Involved in understanding the Requirement, analysis, design and development of the project
Executed the development process using Agile methodology, which included iterative application development, monthly Sprints, stand up meetings, elaboration sessions and customer reporting
Worked on Agile Methodology.
Designed and developed enterprise services using RAML and REST based APIs and used various transformers in Mule ESB based on use case and had implemented the custom transformations.
Created and consumed soap and REST services using MULE ESB to route various calls to do validation of service input and to handle exceptions.
Configuring the Mule process for fetching the data from queue and makes web service calls to the middle tier Mule ESB for processing.
Worked on the Mule API Gateway for the application of policies to API as well for managing the security. Also worked with the Proxy settings using the API Gateway for the API’s.
