Synopsis:

4.5+ years of industry experience in the area of Software Testing (Manual and basic Automation) with solid understanding of Test case Design, Test Execution and Defect Reporting and Tracking.
Well-acquainted with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Extensive experience in Functional, Ad Hoc, Smoke and Regression Testing of web-based application and desktop application.
Experience in Cross Browser and compatibility Testing.
Involved in reporting bugs to developers through Rally, TFS and HP Quality Center.
Experienced in test cases writing, reviewing and executing using TestLink and HP Quality Center.
Well acquainted with Agile methodology.
Having basic working knowledge of Java with Selenium.
Having Knowledge of SQL for database query writing and execution.
Versed in Web Application Testing.
Involved in deployment of project.
Experience in working on Multiple Projects at the same time.

role and responsibileties :

Understanding the technical & functional specifications.
Preparation, review, execution and maintenance of Test cases using HP Quality Center.
Involved in reporting bugs and test case execution using Rally, HP Quality Center and TFS.
Cross Browser Compatibility Testing.
Preparation of daily and weekly status report.
Interacting with the client through calls and emails.
Understood new user stories by going through the WebEx recordings.
Setup and attended a client call to discuss new user stories for better understanding of actual implementation.
Involved in creation of test cases as per the user stories.
Involved in Test case development for Smoke, Regression and Functional Testing.
Involved in test case execution and reviewing using HP Quality Center.
Performed cross browser testing.
Performed ad-hoc, Functionality, Sanity and Regression testing.
Performed Bug Reporting, Defect Tracking and Bug Regression in ALM.
Involved in test case modification of previous stories as per new stories.
